Time Management and Resource Alignment

The PMOffice™ timesheet can also be configured to capture Earned Value metrics. As resources post time against project task assignments, they can also provide percent complete information. Too often, EV calculations are based on the percentage of time spent (Level of Effort or LOE). In reality a resource can spend 90% of the scheduled effort accomplishing only 10% of the work. This means that the cost to perform 10% of the work is 90% of the budget. Industry standard EV calculations rely on the 10% completed to calculate the actual earned budget. The Earned Value Band displays BCWS, CV, BAC, ACWP, EAC, VAC, BCWS, SV,CPI, SPI and Critical Ratio.

The information entered by project performers is immediately aggregated and displayed in a myriad of other PMOffice views, allowing the project managers and executives to obtain real-time collaborative information and make sound decisions.
